the game |
if you knew the cards I wanted to play
and the mistakes I’ve made
with this hand I’ve been dealt
it could make you go crazy
it would make you go numb
the cold in my bones has kept me awake
why can’t I explain this feeling away
only the songs can understand
can describe the hollow pain
happy to be free, but what have I paid
time for a break before I lose it all
but set them up again
and let’s go another round
