the dilemmas |
so one has someone, but he’s not the one
and another has no one, but he just might be the one
so what do you do
stand in awkwardness
talk till he makes you stop
listen till that ball has to drop
say what you wanted to say all along and hope it doesn’t hurt
stings a little to say it, but it needs to be done
stop or start now before it goes too long
and break before you burst
or that river won’t flow out
the worry makes us weak, but that’s not who we are
we know it will be better after all
but man it’s so hard
when the words are in my head and not in yours
the cliff looks too steep, so lets scream out loud and leap
